She started her professional life litigating labor law for 14 years, negotiating collective contracts and advising companies in various sectors. From 2005 until 2020 she worked for Mexico's Internal Revenue Service (SAT) in customs, planning, and watching over tax filings from small and big companies; a journey that gives her a key set of skills to understand tax law and international transactions from the authority’s point of view.

Obtained her license as a lawyer from the university Escuela Libre de Derecho in Mexico, as well as a Master’s degree from Harvard. She has taken multiple Certificates in tax, labor and social security, strategic international planning; furthermore, a Certificate to prevent money laundering and a certificate as a paralegal from the Southern Methodist University, SMU, in Dallas Tx.

Además en el 2022 ubtuvo un certificado por parte de la ONU de gran abogada.
